RCE worked long and hard to improve upon the spec pipe for ICC engines. Frankly, the Italians offer an excellent set-up right of out the box. However, after some dyno and track testing, we set our target on the somewhat weak low and midrange power. With the mandated lower compression, small carb and high revs, it took much developement to make the improvements. But finally we ended up with slightly more peak power, with large boosts in low to midrange power. The stamped design allows smoother exhaust gas flow relative to cut-cone pipes. Installs exactly in place of standard ICC pipe, allowing usage of standard CIK U-tube and silencer. Add some American ingenuity to your kart, the powerful RCE ICC pipe. |
